The newly adopted API SQ/ILSAC GF-7 standards are newly established international specifications designed to address the demands of increasingly high-performance, high-efficiency modern gasoline engines and hybrid (HEV) vehicles. Compared to the previous API SP/ILSAC GF-6 specifications, they represent a significant advancement in engine protection performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions reduction capability.
